Dear Alumni & Supporters

For my final message as Dean to the Howard University School of Business, Bison Family, and students, I would like to offer my sincerest thanks for the opportunity to lead the very best business school in the world. Over the period of my tenure as Dean, we have made tremendous strides and made significant changes that have enhanced our School’s programs, values, commitments, and ultimately the high quality of the education that we provide.

Through my tenure, we have worked tirelessly to significantly enhance the quality of a Howard University School of Business education. Today our academic programs and professional centers are among the best in the world. The dedication and commitment of our truly outstanding faculty experts and professional staff members have made my responsibilities, as Dean, so much easier. Add to this equation of quality and excellence, a cadre of truly exceptional student scholars, who arrive on the campus of Howard University each year and find their way to the School of Business committed to getting a quality education while working to make the School and Howard much better than they found it. Other major elements to the equation, includes outstanding corporate partners, friends, and highly dedicated and involved alumni. Many of our dedicated alumni and supporting corporate partners are represented in our outstanding School of Business Board of Visitors.

I again thank the Howard University community for their continued support and commitment to the School of Business. I am leaving the School of Business in an excellent position and in excellent hands-Dr. Anthony Wilbon, the new Dean. Although I am leaving the position of Dean, I will continue my service to Howard University as the Associate Provost for Academic Innovation and Strategic Partnerships. Thank you again for the opportunity to serve as the Dean at this very special institution.
