Course Offerings (Concentration or Certificate)
The Cybersecurity Analyst Concentration and Certificate programs are available for currently enrolled undergraduate Howard University School of Business students interested in careers in cybersecurity. Students can earn a Concentration or Certificate by completing the following courses:

Cybersecurity Concentration/Certificate Program Level Outcomes:

Understand basic cybersecurity concepts, principles, threats, vulnerabilities, attacks and emerging trends.

Understand the elements of a secure IT landscape and the associated technologies, frameworks, processes and counter-measures.

Explain information assurance and the associated privacy, ethical and legal responsibilities.

Understand and apply basic risk management, incident response and business continuity planning techniques.

Understand and perform a basic set of entry level hands-on skills associated with the selected NSA Centers of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD) Knowledge Units (KUs).
