This summer I will be attending Boston University's Summer Pre Law
Academy.
I will be studying legal cases, advocacy and Critical Race Theory. While participating in Socratic style classes I will be working in collaborative groups to mock represent a client and persuasive. On top of this I will receiving guidance in the law school admissions process through provided mentor. I chose this program because after learning about interactions of Law and Accounting I realized this is the best next step for me to become a Corporate Attorney.
Who am I?
My name is Charles A. Cox, I am a Senior Accounting Major from Columbus, OH, by the way of Jackson, MS.
Why I chose Accounting?
I chose accounting because of my love for numbers and when I got to college!
Short-term Goals:
- Take the LSAT in Oct/Nov
- Apply to Law School
- Apply to MAcc program
Long-term Goals:
- Law School/MAcc program
- Pass both CPA and Bar Exam (1st Try)
- Establish Small Clinic (maybe pro bono) after making Partner
