Executive Certificate Programs

Strategic DEI Leadership Program | This live 5-day virtual program is designed and presented by HUSB scholars and executive practitioners and addresses the emerging best practices and the latest research in leading effective DEI organizational initiatives. Leaders who participate will enjoy studying with Howard University’s advanced instructional teams, discussing best practices amongst executive peers, working on a DEI capstone initiative they can implement, and will leave the program with the knowledge to lead DEI to change within organizations.

• The program consists of 5 days of live virtual instruction, pre-course readings, a capstone project, and a follow-up implementation coaching session.

Executive Certification in Diversity Coaching | The Executive Certification in Diversity Coaching (ECDC) is initially a live 5-day virtual training and is followed by a 2-month process of peer coaching and practicum work. This exclusive program is designed for professionals who want to develop successful coaching competencies, diversity and inclusion integration, and leadership skills for use with individuals, teams, or an entire organization. This executive certification program is a partnership between the Howard University School of Business and the award-winning Coach Diversity Institute. The Executive Certification in Diversity Coaching (ECDC) is accredited by the International Coaching Federation.

• The program consists of 5 days of live virtual instruction, and 15 hours of follow-up peer & mentor coaching.

Global Executive Leadership Program | This live 5-day virtual program is uniquely designed to prepare leaders for the growing demands of today’s global business environment. Programs include intensive classroom lectures, global business case analysis, business simulations, and guest instruction from leaders from The World Bank, IMF, and other iconic global institutions.

• The program consists of 5 days of live virtual instruction, pre-course readings, a final team capstone project, and a follow-up implementation coaching session.

Executive Leadership Certificate Program | This live 5-day virtual program is designed to present leadership principles, models, and tools critical to the success of emerging and seasoned leaders. Sessions include Leadership Excellence, Strategic Planning, Project Management, Cross-Cultural Communications, Diversity Management, Team Building, and more. Programs can also be tailored to meet the unique needs of interested organizations or teams.

Executive Leadership for Ministers | This live 5-day virtual program introduces ministers and senior church leaders to the critical business management and leadership skills to effectively lead and evolve their church organizations. Modules include Strategic Planning, Financial Management, Legal Issues, Succession Planning, Marketing, and a final Capstone Business Case Competition.
